The first ever Joomla Nigeria user group meeting took place on December 21st, 2007 at University of Lagos Guest House Committee Room C and from what I gathered it was a really nice time.
We knew that the joomla day was in the works, but didn’t get to hear about it on time when the date, time and venue was finally fixed. Even though 60minuteswiththegeeks might not have been able to send an entourage, we would have definitely made some noise about the event.
Not to worry, this is definitely not the last edition so we are looking forward to the next Joomla day Nigeria.
For you people who are just hearing of joomla for the first time, it is a content management system, something like drupal. Although I have never tinkered with it myself, my pals who have says it is pretty good.

We will surely let you know way before time when the next J! day is confirmed.
It is definitely in December though.
